Guidestar introduce grantmakers search option

To find a grantmaker offering grants in your chosen area of activity all you need to do is use 'advanced search' to enter a relevant keyword on the Guidestar web site and then tick the box marked grantmaker. This will bring up a list of relevant organisations. You can refine your search further by using the cluster options on the left hand side.

New public benefit statement section

One outcome of the Charity Bill is that every registered charity now needs to show positively that it is set up and operates for the public benefit (The Charity Commission will be providing further guidance). In the meantime you can add a public benefit statement under the activities section of Update My Charity on Guidestar.
